Palo pro at the international Conference of Darmstadt in Germany

The successful platform palo pro was presented on Monday, September 23th in the workshop PATHOS 2013, which took place at the International Conference of the German Society for Computational Linguistics and Language Technology (GSCL 2013), held in Darmstadt University, Germany.

Entitled as “Large-Scale Sentiment Analysis for Reputation Management», palo pro is one out of six tools that stood out among 30 proposals, which were presented live to start-ups businesses, researchers and academics. The founder, Panayiotis Tsantilas with his team presented the capabilities of Palo Pro for the analysis of corporate and personal reputation by using language technology.

Palo pro combines the integrated platform NERC and the most modern data mining methods for monitoring the reputation of companies, individuals, organizations and other entities in the Greek language, by analyzing approximately 80,000 documents per hour. It is worth noting that Palo Pro recognizes and “translates” even the new language of social media, known as greeklish.
